AFIRA Tirzepatide 40 mg offers ultra-pure lyophilized peptide in a sealed vial. The 40 mg configuration provides practitioners with full flexibility over diluent volume and final reconstituted concentration for personalized patient regimens.
Tirzepatide is a first-in-class dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. By simultaneously activating both incretin pathways, it exerts synergistic metabolic control: promoting glucose-dependent insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells, suppressing inappropriate glucagon release, slowing gastric motility, and stimulating central hypothalamic satiety circuits to curb appetite and enhance peripheral insulin sensitivity.
Reconstitute with 2 mL bacteriostatic water or 0.9% sterile saline. Slow injection down vial wall, gentle swirl without shaking.
To ensure gastrointestinal tolerability, Tirzepatide administration must follow a stepwise escalation protocol. Treatment initiates at a low starting dose of 2.5 mg subcutaneously once weekly for the initial 4 weeks (adaptation phase). The dose is then increased to 5.0 mg once weekly. Subsequent increments of 2.5 mg may occur at minimum 4-week intervals based on clinical assessment and tolerance, up to the maximum dose of 15.0 mg weekly.

Store refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Protect from direct light. Do not freeze. For pre-filled pens: once in use, the pen may be kept at room temperature (below 30°C / 86°F) for up to 21-28 days. For reconstituted vials: maintain in refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C and use sterile single-use syringes.
Adding 2.0 mL of solvent provides an intuitive concentration of 20 mg/mL (0.125 mL = 2.5 mg; 0.25 mL = 5.0 mg).
